Jeff McLeod Trio
A classic piano trio setting in which Jeff explores the original music of his as well as his band mates, along with underplayed music by Ellington, Monk, Bill Evans and others.
Bishop McLeod Trio
Co-led with guitarist Ben Bishop, this trio features the classic formation made popular by Nat King Cole and Oscar Peterson which features the piano, guitar and bass in a tight-knit group with no drums. It is a vehicle for the exploration of the many lesser played gems from the American Songbook. Expect a range of music from high-energy swing to relaxed ballads all given interesting and fresh treatments. This group is equally at home performing in jazz clubs and for playing music lounge style music at events. This group started back in 2011 when all members were living in Rochester, New York.
After working together for many years each summer in their home-town of Regina, Donny Kennedy and Jeff decided to take their mutual love of playing music together to the next level and record a CD. The result was the 2013 release Belaney’s Secret, which features originals by both leaders, along with Frasier Hollins on bass and Dave Laing Look for the group to do more playing in Toronto and Montreal in the near future.

Mike Plume Band
A stalwart on the Americana scene. Springsteen meets Stompin’ Tom. He’s been writing songs and touring since the 1980s and Jeff’s been playing with him since 2013. Its three hours of sweaty high-energy awesomeness every show! He also hosted the reality TV show Mississippi Snake Grabbers, a show about guys in the deep-south who enjoy wading into swamps to catch snakes with their bare hands for fun. Expect a new release very soon, as Mike is working hard in the studio with a brand new set of tunes!
Greg Cockerill Band
Greg is a true renaissance man. When he isn’t practicing and instructing Acupuncture or competing and training in judo, he is a busy guitarist, vocalist and songwriter in Toronto. The Greg Cockerill Band has a monthly residency at Toronto’s Cameron House, the last Saturday of every month.
Alison Young Quintet

John Pittman's Kinship Project
Jeff connected with John while at Eastman, in Rochester NY. Canadians stick together. He is now a busy music teacher and professional jazz trumpeter in Toronto. This group features his wonderful original compositions, and will be releasing a record soon! Shirantha Beddage (Bari sax), Mike Downes (bass), Curtis Nowosad (drums) along with Jeff on piano.
Chris Gale's Hector Quartet
Chris Gale is one of the baddest and busiest tenor saxophonists in Canada and he recently teamed up with Scottish guitarist Graeme Stephenson, Jeff on organ and Chris Wallace on drums to create a group that focuses primarily on the original compositions of its members.
Jason Plumb & the Willing
One of Saskatchewan’s great singer/songwriters and front man of Canadian rock band the Waltons. The Willing is his Regina based band that serves as a vehicle for his post-Waltons songwriting. Jeff played with this band from 2006 - 2013, and contributed keyboards on four releases.

The Morgan Childs Soul Jazz Review
The Morgan Childs Soul Jazz Revue is a collection of some of Toronto’s finest musicians, dedicated to playing the music of 1960s and 70s soul jazz pioneers like George Benson, Lou Donaldson, Quincy Jones, Lonnie Smith, and Grant Green. Mixing elements of funk and soul music with jazz virtuosity and a gritty, tough edge, the sound of soul jazz became the source of many classic samples from the Golden Age of hip hop and breakbeat music
